Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.1% in March 14 – Monday
MOSCOW, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation sped up to 0.1% from March 14 through Monday from 0.02% in the previous week, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The prices for fruit and vegetables decreased to 0.4% from 0.2% before. The price for cucumbers fell by 6.1%, for cabbage by 0.5%, for potatoes by 0.3%, apples by 0.2%, beets by 0.1%. At the same time, the prices for tomatoes increased by 3.1%, for onions by 0.6%, for bananas by 0.3%, for carrots by 0.2%.
The prices for eggs went up by 0.82%, for cheese, vegetable preserves for children and pork by 0.4% on average. The buckwheat prices decreased by 0.56% and the chicken by 0.55%.
The gasoline and prices diesel fuel remained almost flat.
